As we've seen over the last 2 years the Nintendo Wii has taken home entertainment systems to another level. In more recent times it has also become possible - due to the enormous popularity of the Wii - to download games to your PC, transfer to a Memory Card or DVD and play these games immediately on your Wii.

3. Keeping on the theme of gathering, choose a gathering profession like herbalism, mining and skinning. Choosing the latter two should be in preference if you are just starting out. The reason for choosing these professions in your special quest to gather the most gold, is because you can start them with literally no equipment unlike other professions.

4. But if you must choose other professions that are not of the gathering mold, the two which will yield the most earnings are Fishing and Enchanting. Most world of warcraft servers pay fishermen by the hour and very well too, whereas with Enchanting you can also make good money without leaving the city you inhabit.

5. This is a good tip I recently read about while surfing around. It involves reselling recipes that are in limited supply. It is a great tip because all you need to know is where to find the recipe, and sell them at auction. Particularly effective as not many gamers use this method.

The list is obviously not exclusive. The world of warcraft economy allows you to gather gold using many strategies, but the above are some of the most practiced and as such are the most effective.
