How To Put Video On PSP - 4 Easy Steps

How To Put Video On PSP

Sony has made this a little tricky to do, but with the steps Im about to outline below, youll be up and running in no time with video on your PSP.

Step One:

Get a large memory card. Video, by its nature, takes up a lot of memory so you want a half gig ( 512mb ) card as a bare minimum. You can pick these up for 20 to 30 dollars online. Youll also need a USB cable for your Sony PSP.

Step Two:

You need a PC connected to the internet. Ideally you want something high speed like a broadband connection otherwise downloading videos to put on your psp is going to take a long time.

Step Three:

Ensure your PSP is switched off. Connect your USB cable to the Sony PSP and to your PC at the other end. At this point you can switch on the PSP. On the PSP access screen select Settings then USB connection. Select X to boot the PSP on the PC. You will at this point see it on your desktop as untitled.

If you look inside you should see a folder which is called PSP. Under this there will be a number of subfolders such as Games and Music. Add a new folder here ( at the same level as PSP ) and call it MP_ROOT. Once you have added this folder, create a sub-folder and call it 100MNV01. This is the location that your MP4 video files will be saved. This is how to put video on PSP.

Step Four:

This is where the fun begins. Here you can download MP4 videos as you require. Once downloaded onto your Sony PSP select the following options. Video then memory stick. To play any of these videos select the relevant thumbnail gallery pic and click on it. Now when somebody asks you how to put video on PSP youll be able to refer them to this and earn some brownie points.

The Fireline DS and DS Fire Card provide a fast and convenient way to download and play all your games. With the Fireline fitting in Slot 2 and the Fire Card sliding into Slot 1, you don't need to worry about having extra equipment with you. All you need to do is store your games on the Fireline, then bring them over to the Fire Card for instant access. There are no external memory systems needed for this process.

You might be worried that you won't have enough space to store all your games with the Fireline DS and Fire Card but you don't need to be concerned. The Fire Card can hold up to 16Gbits of memory, which is plenty of room for your entire collection. If you somehow do run out of room, you can always delete games you don't play as much so you can add new ones.

The interface that this storage device has is one of the best to use. Unlike other devices such as the DSTT, you'll be able to browse through your games quickly and easily. With the DSTT, this can take awhile due to lag and the inability to alphabetize your game list. The Fire Card has a much better way of browsing that will let you find the game you want in no time so you can start playing.

If you like a little flair with your DS, then you'll enjoy the extra features that the Fireline DS and Fire Card system have. You can customize your DS screen by downloading skins. You can even enhance these skins with Photoshop to make them more interesting. Other devices, such as the R4 DS, are lacking this feature.

All things considered, the Fireline DS and Fire Card storage device has the most advantages and provides you with the most reasons to purchase it. You can't go wrong with this system, and you won't find a more convenient or easier to use one around.
